Getting to Wollongong fom Sydney Airport

SHUTTLE BUS
We recommend you take advantage of the shuttle bus service on offer to all delegates of the Australian Computer Science Week 2008. If you intend to use this service, you are required to request the "Shuttle-Bus" option along with your general conference and conference dinner registrations, the cost of this shuttle bus service is $40.00.

SUNDAY 20 January 2008 & Monday 21 January 2008
Once you arrive into your terminal, please make your way to the bus bays. If you can not find the bus bays, please go to the information desk and they will point you in the right direction. Busses will be marked with a sign "ACSW 2008 WOLLONGONG" in the front window. The bus bay number will vary, depending on the traffic on the day, so please just look out for the sign.

Please give the driver your name as you will be marked off a list.

If you have not paid for this service, please pay $AUD40 directly to the driver.

TRAIN
Trains connect the International and Domestic terminals of Sydney Airport with Central Station, where you can then change to a 'South Coast' line to get to Wollongong (the destination of the train will be advertised as Port Kembla, Dapto or Bomaderry-Nowra, all of these trains will stop at Wollongong train station).
These trains depart from Central Station approximately each hour. Please visit http://www.cityrail.nsw.gov.au/ for timetable information.

On your arrival to Wollongong train station, you will then need to call for a taxi (Taxi Cabs Wollongong contact: 02 4229 9311) to take you to your accommodation. A Taxi from Wollongong station to all hotels within Wollongong should cost approximately A$5.00 - A$15.00.

TAXI
We strongly advise you to not travel from Sydney Airport to Wollongong as it will be an extremely expensive trip (a few hundred dollars).

During the Conference

SHUTTLE BUS
Shuttle busses have been arranged to collect delegates from Wollongong Hotels and transport to the Australasian Computer Science Week Conference at the University of Wollongong campus for each day of the conference.

The Shutttle Buss will do a round trip of all hotels listed on this web site. If you are not staying at the hotels listed, yet you require this bus service, please make your way to the closest hotel on the list. Shuttle busses will depart from Wollongong Hotels at the following times:
